Check out The Half Bloods's "Breakin' into Gringotts."
And (my new theme song, probably): The House of Black's song: "Wrock Fan Girl," which also is on their album "Family Tree."
Both songs are downloadable at their MySpace pages (links above) and feature pretty good voices and nice musical arrangements, a little more sophisticated than the usual.
As always, for my own curiosity, please comment if you listen and like.

A slew of soon to be released merchandise tied into the upcoming release of the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" film has appeared online via a number of retailers outside the States. Readers will remember last week, the first...
Lots of rare and not rare LE decants alike in my sales post. I also have a bottle of Blue Moon 2007 and a bottle of Black Moon. I'll ship anywhere and take any kind of paypal payment - more details in my previous post:

Since the movie is coming out this week, does anyone want to make an event of it?

Apparently complaining makes it magically work again!
Note to self: When stuck with writing, clean the bathroom. There is something particularly inspirational about being on one's knees and scrubbing a toilet. Probably because in comparison, banging your head against the keyboard is far more desirable.
Also, there's usually a plot bunny hidden in the tub. Silly bunny.
Problem with Page Eight is solved. Will post tomorrow, because I have to finish up the editing and coding and whatnot.

I read The Last Battle when I was little girl. Once. My thoughts? "Well, that was depressing." So this should be fun! :D
( Chapters 1&2 )
On a completely different note: I think I've become addicted to Project Runway. Why did no one warn me!!

Today I have:
Still left to do today:
Then it's meeting with the landlord tomorrow for the house inspection, a half-day of work, an hour or two on the river with my co-workers (instead of a goodbye lunch we're taking our inflatable lounge chairs and floating down the river - way more fun!), a quick visit with another friend who has been out of town, and finally the two-hour drive to my parents'. On Saturday I have to write an entire 10 page research paper for my online Medieval Lit class (and no, I haven't even done the reading yet!), and then a family dinner, and out to the lake first thing Sunday morning for ten days of visiting with friends and family, boating, and swimming. Hopefully. If the weather holds.
I'm thinking Quebec, with it's lack of university courses and friends who speak English, and it's 25-hour work week, is going to leave me twiddling my thumbs in boredom...
- done two loads of laundry washed, dried, folded and packed
- with my parents, loaded all of my belongings into the the UHaul
- shopped for long-weekend supplies and bike rack for Great Quebec Roadtrip
- consulted with tattoo artist on art for group tattoo
- withdrawn from classes at university and gotten refund (I registered "just in case")
- bought prizes for long-weekend games
- stopped at three stores to price-compare a gift for my dad to give Mum on her birthday next week
- cleaned two of the three and half (there's an unfinished basement) floors in my townhouse top to bottom
Still left to do today:
- clean last floor and a half
- load my car with all the last minute stuff
- drop off a load of stuff for charity (my fourth load of this move)
- meet the girls for a 10K trail run
- make my way to a friend's house to crash for the night

i probably spent like 2 hours putting in my profile shit. i don't know why i get so obsessive over crap like that. LOL
the thing is i go on these things not because i am looking for a new job or anything, but because i like to reconnect with people. even though all the people i reconnect with are the same people i've already connected with on myspace and facebook and twitter and everything else.
so if you wanna be in my network. add me. :P

My car has nu shooz. Yay! And the wheel-balancing they did eliminated that high-speed vibration. Yay! So now I'm $350 poorer. Boooo!
